Brief description on the major research interests
The main goal of the current study is to characterize the antibiotic cross-resistance and multiple antibiotic resistance under environmental stress conditions, understand the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance associated with planktonic, biofilm, and VBNC, compare resistance gene expression with virulence and adherence gene expression, and evaluate the horizontal gene transfer.
